MAKE NEW FRIENDS, LEARN NEW THINGS & ENJOY LIFE

There are more than two dozen activity groups available to Blyth & District U3A members, although some groups close for August & during the winter. As we expand there will be a greater interest in other groups and this will be conveyed to members at our monthly meetings.

Most groups meet on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Please note that members may be disappointed if the groups are full, please contact the group coordinator to ascertain space. Also to join a group you MUST be a member of the Blyth and District U3A. The membership form can be downloaded on the Contact page. Members of other U3A's can join but will pay a reduced members fee.

We are looking to start yet more groups very soon, if YOU have any ideas for new groups please let the Group Coordinator know via the Contact Page. You don't have to have any qualifications other than an interest or hobby to form a group and be a group leader.

Note that Groups with an asterisk *, will require a small cover charge to cover the cost of hall hire etc

In the garden of learning, where wisdom blooms, Gather the seekers, in bright, lively rooms. With hearts full of wonder, and minds ever keen, They explore the vast world, both seen and unseen.

No age can confine them, nor time hold them back, For knowledge and friendship, they never lack. In lectures and workshops, in art and in song, They find joy in the journey, where all can belong.

From history’s whispers to science’s call, They embrace every subject, they cherish it all. With laughter and stories, they weave a grand tale, In the halls of the U3A, where dreams set sail.

So here’s to the learners, the curious, the wise, Who find in each moment, a new, bright sunrise. May their quest for knowledge forever inspire, In the garden of learning, where hearts never tire.
